Do I have to write the book myself?
No. You start with raw memories - voice recordings, photos, short notes. MeldLife generates chapter drafts from those. You review and edit, but you do not start from a blank page.
What format is the finished book in?
You can export a polished PDF at any time. A printed and bound copy is available as a premium option once your story is ready. Both are designed to look good, not like a word-processed document.
How long does it take?
The story grows at your pace. Some families capture a short but complete story in a few weeks of occasional recording. Others add to it for months. There is no deadline.
What if I want to edit the generated chapters?
Every chapter draft is fully editable. The AI-generated text is a starting point, not the final word. You control what stays, what changes, and what gets added.
Can I export before the story is finished?
Yes. You can export a PDF of what you have at any point. Many families export a partial story for a birthday or anniversary and continue adding to it afterwards.
